Short-term loans

Farming is an important part of our lives in central Illinois and we realize that farmers, at times, need to borrow. Come to us if you are in need of help starting a new business or expanding an existing business.

Consumer loans allow you to borrow money for a variety of reasons.

Whether it is for a new car or to help pay for school expenses, our loan department will work with you.

Checking

A free checking account

  • minimum balance of $100,
  • no minimum balance after opening the account,
  • no monthly service charge fees,
  • unlimited check-writing privileges.

An interest-bearing checking account

  • minimum balance of $1,000,
  • a service charge of $15.00 imposed every statement cycle if the balance falls below $1,000 any day of the cycle,
  • a $.20 charge per check over 50 per cycle.

An interest-bearing money market account

  • minimum balance of $2,500,
  • a charge of $5 imposed every statement cycle if the balance falls below $2,500 any day of the cycle,
  • limited to six transfers per cycle.

A business checking account

  • minimum balance of $1,000,
  • a service charge of $10 is imposed if the balance falls below the minimum balance,
  • a $0.2 charge per check over 100 on business accounts.

A small business checking account

  • minimum balance of $500,
  • a service charge of $15 is imposed if the balance in the account falls below the minimum balance,
  • a $0.25 charge per check over 25 per cycle on small business accounts.

Savings

Savings account for the unexpected can be opened with a minimum balance of 25 dollars. Interest is compounded quarterly and a balance of $25 must be maintained to obtain interest.

Christmas Club Account is great for saving money for gifts ahead of time. Accounts are usually opened in early November and Christmas Club checks are issued in October, which leaves plenty of time for gift shopping.

Certificates of deposit ranging from 31 days to 5 years. Interest rates on certificates of deposit vary throughout the year. A penalty is required if you withdraw the certificate early.
