May 20-June 1 Alaska Discovery – includes land, roundtrip airfare, tax, and fuel surcharges from St Louis, 5 nights lodging, 7 nights aboard a Princess Cruise ship, 22 meals: Your tour starts in Fairbanks where you’ll board the Stern Wheeler, Discovery for a river cruise showcasing Alaska’s culture and history. You’ll tour the 6 million acres of Denali National Park and see Mount McKinley. Then on to Whittier via the McKinley Express’ glass-ceiling railcars and open-air observation platforms. There you’ll board the Princess Cruise ship for a 7-night cruise past Hubbard Glacier, through Glacier Bay. You’ll have a chance to explore Skagway, the “Gateway to the Klondike”, Juneau, the state capital, and Ketchikan, known as the “Salmon Capital of the World” and the “City of Totems”. You’ll cruise through the Inside Passage to Vancouver. A motorcoach takes you to Seattle, from which you’ll fly home. $250 deposit due at signing. Final payment due January 20.

A private tour train with experienced guide will take us on a narrated historical island tour. We’ll visit Perry’s International Peace Memorial, Heineman Winery, Crystal Cave (you can stand in the world’s largest geode), St Paul’s Episcopal Church, and still have time to shop and visit the Beer Barrel Saloon (which claims the world’s longest bar). We’ll have dinner at The Boardwalk on the island. $75 deposit due at signing. Final payment due July 1.
